Little Known Powerful Construction Marketing Strategies
Hello again everyone, from Big West Marketing and General Contractor Websites, I am Joe Burnich and I’ve been in and around online marketing since 2009. This is my world. But before that, I owned a small cleaning business. Along the way, which was a rough way, through trial and error, I came across what works for service-based businesses. Especially for contractors and folks in the Construction industry because you provide a service that can be life changing. A new addition for a growing family or a large kitchen remodel, these are huge life choices and a potential client is going to want to trust the company they allow into their homes. So today, we are going to focus on a broad marketing strategy to help you build up a relationship of trust with potential clients.
One-time advertising can pay off, but it does nothing to familiarize your company with the audience. Check out Best Contractor Advertising Online for other tips. That brings us to Retargeting, getting your ad to appear across the web once a person has been to your website. Let’s see how you can get started with this strategy today.
First, you are going to need to get folks to your website from Google. You can make this happen by getting your business to rank on Google’s search results for your specific service. There are two ways to be your business to rank high on Google: the first is with Search Engine Optimization or SEO. This approach is free but will take time to implement. The second approach is with Adwords, a paid advertising system that allows you to bid on certain keywords and have your ad appear when those keywords are searched for.
Once you can direct some traffic to your website, through Adwords, set up your Google Display Network. This is the network of websites that Google advertises on and allows them to retarget certain users. You can also set up a retargeting campaign with Facebook ads. Facebook can get very specific, in terms of setting up a specific audience, but remember people on Facebook are not typically in full-on “BUY” mode. Whereas with Google, people are on there searching for specific services now.
This is all a part of the “Be everywhere now” mantra. These retargeting ads will build up a trust with potential clients, a familiarity, so that when it comes time to pull the trigger on that bathroom remodel or bedroom addition, your ad, your company will come to mind.
